The 501(c)(3) charitable apostolate of Beatific Vision — formation, education, and patronage of the next generation of Catholic filmmakers. Wake. Watch. Witness.
The Catholic Film Institute (CFI) is the charitable arm of the Beatific Vision house. Where the studio's commercial operations produce films and serve audiences, the Institute exists to form the makers — to train, equip, network, and nourish the Catholic creatives whose work the wider industry will eventually be unable to do without.
CFI's mission is the salvation of souls by making accessible to audiences worldwide the treasury of truths contained in the Deposit of Faith — through cinema and the visual arts. It accomplishes this mission by cultivating a community of visual storytellers united by a common creed and shared hope, who together work to showcase the splendors of creation crowned by grace.
CFI is established as a Delaware nonprofit corporation, recognized by the IRS under Section 501(c)(3). Its sole member is Beatific Vision, LLC — securing perpetual mission alignment between the studio and the apostolate, while preserving full independence in CFI's grantmaking, programming, and editorial decisions.
CFI's programming roadmap spans the next decade — from membership organization through professional development, festival operations, awards, and the eventual establishment of a full-scale Catholic film conservatory.
All gifts to the Catholic Film Institute are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Multi-year commitments welcome. Multi-decade commitments treasured.
